Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Bulk Action Options on the Users Screen

Below the listing of users are several bulk actions.

Action Description
Send a Letter Use this option to send a letter to multiple users.
Activate Selected Users This option activates all selected users.
Deactivate Selected Users This option deactivates all selected users.
Off-Board Selected Users To terminate multiple users at once, use this option. Follow the process defined in the Off-Board an Employee section. The options selected in the wizard apply to all the selected users. The field for the email address to be used as the new login is disabled and displays Original on File since the function is for multiple users and one email address cannot be submitted for more than one individual.
Assign HR Business Partner This action provides the option to assign an HR Business Partner to multiple employees at once.
